Engine stopped before performing inspection, cleaning, or maintenance?

Protective equipment such as protective eyeglasses and dust mask worn when using compressed air?

Care taken not to fall when working in high places or where the foothold is poor?

Air cleaner element cleaned or replaced when necessary?

Inside of the machine cleaned when any sand, and dust is accumulated?

Radiator front checked for clogging and cleaned if necessary?

Track tension checked and adjusted if necessary?

Track shoe bolts checked for looseness and tightened if necessary?

NOTICE: Perform the lubrication every 10 hours when the machine is operated on the soft ground, etc., and the soil and sand are accumulated on the machine.

REMARK: Lower the blade until the idler is raised 1 to 2 cm from the ground and perform lubrication. The grease will fill the whole circumference of the pin.

Warning: Immediately after the engine is stopped, its parts and oil are still very hot and may cause burn injury. Wait for the temperature to go down, and then start the work.

Warning: When the oil filler cap is removed, oil may spurt out. Turn the cap slowly to release the internal pressure, then remove it carefully.

Warning: Stop the engine, and turn the starting switch and the battery disconnect switch keys to OFF positions when handling the battery.

Prepare an oil container to receive the oil, a filter wrench, and hose.

Lower the work equipment to the ground and stop the engine.

Loosen the cap of oil filler port (F) slowly on the top of the hydraulic tank to release the internal pressure in the hydraulic tank.

Open the hydraulic tank inspection cover on the left side of the machine.

Remove the grommet (1) at the lower part of the hydraulic tank.

METHOD FOR REPLACING FUEL SPRAY PREVENTION CAP

Ask your Komatsu distributor for replacement of the fuel spray prevention caps.

Maintenance for every 50, 250, 500, 1000, 2000 and 4000 hours service should be performed at the same time.
