1. Close flowmeter shut-off valve (A).

2. Remove plug (A) and drain solution into bucket or suitable container.

3. Loosen and remove ring nut (B).

4. Remove cover (C) from end of strainer body (D) and drain solution into bucket or suitable container.

Replace air compressor air dryer cartridge

Relieve air system pressure by opening valve (A)

Check mark

Remove cap screws (A), nuts, and clamps that secure alternator harness

Check mark

Remove cap screws (B) and tilt air dryer and mounting bracket assembly (C) until dryer cartridge can be accessed

Check mark

Using a strap wrench, turn the desiccant cartridge (A) counterclockwise, remove and discard

Check mark

Remove and discard O-ring (B) from adapter plate stud

Check mark

Clean top surface of adapter plate (D) and threaded stud

Check mark

Apply a light coat of grease (supplied with new cartridge) to O-ring. Install O-ring on adapter plate
