1200 Hourly Maintenance
Perform items 2, 4, 6, 7, and 8 in the regular daily or 10 hour service; item 10 in the 50 hour service; items 12 through 16, and 19 through 22 in the 200 hour service; and items 24 through 36 in the 600 hour service in addition to the following.
37. LUBRICATING FRONT WHEEL BEARINGS
Clean and pack the front wheel bearings and oil seal.
Adjust the front wheel bearings.
38. DRAINING AND FILLING TRANSMISSION-HYDRAULIC SYSTEM
With the engine warm, remove the transmission-hydraulic system drain plugs and drain the oil.
Replace the drain plugs.
Add new John Deere Type 303 Special-Purpose Oil or its equivalent at the filler cap.
Bring the oil level on the dipstick to the top of the "SAFE" range.

DRAINING AND FILLING CRANKCASE
Steps taken for draining and filling crankcase
DRAINING CARBURETOR SUMP (LP-Gas)
Steps taken for draining carburetor sump
CHECKING GENERATOR BELT TENSION
Steps taken for checking generator belt tension
600 Hourly Maintenance
Perform items 2, 4, and 6 through 9 in the regular daily or 10-hour service; item 10 in the 50-hour service; and items 12 through 16 and 18 through 23 in the 200-hour service in addition to the following.
Checking air cleaner connections
Servicing air cleaner
Draining fuel-lock strainer (LP-Gas)
Cleaning fuel tank sediment bowl and fuel tank sump
Replacing fuel filter element (Diesel)
Checking valve clearance
Cleaning fuel injectors (Diesel)
Checking injection pump timing (Diesel)
50 Hourly Maintenance
Perform items 1 through 9 in the regular daily or 10-hour service in addition to the following.
