Wearing gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses?

Dust mask employed as required?

Quenching cloth and fire extinguisher available?

All Local and National building and electrical codes followed?

Refrigeration system properly secured following the OEM manufacturer’s recommendation before shutting the condenser down for cleaning?

Power supply turned off at disconnect/breaker and Lock-Out tag installed?

Voltage tested with multi-meter prior to performing service?

Warning: Ensure the power is off before starting the inspection.

Check if the electrical power disconnect switch is in the “OFF” position.

Check if all power to the unit is off from the source.

Inspect and tighten electrical connections if required.

Check the fans for the correct rotation during the unit startup phase.

Check if the fans are pushing the air into the coil surface.

If the fans are pushing the air into the coil surface, the motor wiring needs to be corrected.
