Move the I/O (on/off) Switch to the O (off) position

Has the bulb cooled completely?

Select the appropriate replacement bulb

Is the replacement bulb correctly installed?

Ensure no 375 W bulb is installed in DL or DLL units

Read all safety messages in the Important Safety Information section before operating the equipment.

Move the I/O (on/off) Switch to the I (on) position.

Move the I/O (on/off) Switch to the O (off) position.

Operating Retractable ‘R’ and ‘RT’ Units

Turn OFF power at fused disconnect switch/circuit breaker and allow unit to cool before cleaning.

Ensure the unit has not been submerged or saturated with water.

Move the I/O (on/off) Switch to the O (off) position and allow the unit to cool completely.

Wipe down the lamp shade with a clean, soft, water-dampened cloth.

Use a mild, non-abrasive cleanser for stubborn stains.

Ensure no water or cleanser residue is left on the unit.

Ensure lamp is at proper height before tightening set screws.

Slide the stem up or down to the desired length.

Tighten set screws securely (at least 12 ft-lbs.).

Ensure screws penetrate paint and contact bare metal for grounding.

Use the included threadlocker and set screws to secure the stem length.

Tighten set screws securely (at least 12 ft-lbs.).
