Coolant replaced and coolant tank cleaned?

Hydraulic unit oil filter replaced?

All hoses and lubrication lines checked for cracking?

Check for proper operation of auto drain on filter regulator.

Check air guage / regulator for 85 psi.

Clean exterior surfaces with mild cleaner. DO NOT use solvents.

Clean out small chip catch pan in coolant tank.

Mineral cutting oils will damage rubber based components throughout the machine.

When machining castings, sand from the casting process and the abrasive properties of cast aluminum and cast iron will shorten pump life unless a special filter is used in addition to the 100 mesh suction filter. Contact Haas Automation for recommendations.

Machining of ceramics and the like voids all warranty claims for wear and is done entirely at the customer's risk. Increased maintenance schedules are absolutely required with abrasive swarf. The coolant must be changed more often, and the tank thoroughly cleaned of sediment on the bottom. A larger coolant tank is recommended.

Shortened pump life, reduction of pressure and increased maintenance are normal and to be expected in abrasive environments and is not covered by warranty.

Disassemble and clean the small filter at end of lubricator with air pressure OFF

Clean oil filter and remove residue from the bottom of filter

Replace air filter on control box every (2) years

Note: The filter box must be removed on the SL-20 lathes in order to replace the air filter

Sign off on the lathe maintenance

Sign off on the filter cleaning

TURN OFF power to the machine at the main breaker

Remove the retainer and the light lens

Remove the light bulb and replace

Replace the light lens and retainer

Sign off on the bulb replacement
