Ensure safety precautions are in place around moving parts

Verify the use of high grade lithium base grease

Check hand gun pressure rating (maximum 40 psi)

Is the hand gun pressure within the safe range?

Enter the number of lubricant shots applied (1 or 2 shots recommended)

Rotate bearings during lubrication if safe to do so

Did a slight bead form around the seal after lubrication?

Fasteners and Setscrews Inspection

Check all fasteners and setscrews for tightness

Does the wheel rotate freely and is it aligned as shown in Figure 7?

Was the wheel position verified for movement during shipment?

Was the centering height alignment accomplished by loosening the set screws and moving the wheel to the desired position?

Loosen tension enough to install belts without stretching

Adjust tension equally in both belts for two groove pulleys

Check pulleys for proper alignment to prevent excessive wear and noise

Loosen four fasteners on the drive frame

Ensure identical fasteners on opposing side are also loosened

Adjust belt tension after the first 24-48 hours of operation

Adjust and tighten belt as necessary

Inspect bolts, setscrews, and motor mounting bolts

Adjust and tighten as necessary
