Inspect all components for proper installation

Adjust and tighten bolts, setscrews, and motor mounting bolts as necessary

Disconnect all electrical power to the fan and secure to the 'off' position.

Ensure the unit is made non-functional by removing fuses and locking off the disconnect.

Limit cleaning to exterior surfaces only.

Remove dust buildup on motor housing to ensure proper motor cooling.

Was the cleaning performed evenly to avoid out of balance condition?

Was the installation and maintenance performed by qualified personnel familiar with local codes and regulations?

Ensure the fan is turned off and locked out for safety

Gather necessary tools and materials, including a hand grease gun and high-grade lithium base grease

Check the hand grease gun pressure (maximum 40 psi)

Rotate bearings if safety permits during lubrication

Apply one or two shots of lubricant with the hand grease gun

Did a slight bead form around the seal?

Check belts for wear and tightness

Are matched belts used on multi-groove pulleys?

Loosen the tensioning device to remove the belt by hand

Install new belt of the same type as supplied with the unit

Adjust belts as shown in 'Pre‑Starting Checks'

Check pulley setscrews for tightness

Adjust belt tension after the first 24-48 hours of operation

Adjust and tighten belt as necessary
