Cooktop Cleaning
Preparation
Are all controls turned to OFF and the cooktop cool?
Light to Moderate Soil Cleaning
Apply a few drops of CookTop® Cleaning Creme directly to the cooktop.
Use a paper towel or non-abrasive cloth or sponge to clean the entire cooktop surface.
Ensure the cooktop is cleaned thoroughly, leaving no residue.
Heavy, Burned-On Soil Cleaning
Apply a few drops of CookTop® Cleaning Creme directly to the soiled area.
Rub the soiled area using a non-abrasive cleaning tool, applying pressure as needed.
Oven Self-Cleaning
Preparation before self-cleaning
Ensure all controls are turned off and the appliance is cool
Remove items that cannot withstand high cleaning temperatures
Completely remove all oven racks and any accessories
Remove excessive spills from the oven bottom using hot, soapy water and a cloth
Clean the oven frame, door liner outside the oven door gasket, and the small area at the front center of the oven bottom with soap and water
Setting the self-clean cycle
Press clean
Press the Up arrow until the desired clean time appears (2:00, 3:00, or 4:00 hours)
Control Panel Cleaning
Preparation
Turn all controls off
Activate oven lockout (if applicable)
Remove any knobs from the panel (if needed)
Cleaning Instructions
Avoid using abrasive cleaners
Clean using hot, soapy water and a cloth or sponge
Squeeze excess water from cloth or sponge before wiping the control panel
Wipe especially around the controls area to prevent water damage
Oven Light Replacement
Ensure the oven is unplugged and all parts are cool before starting
Remove the interior oven light shield by pulling the light straight out
Replace the bulb with a new T-4 type Halogen 25 watt appliance bulb
Use a paper towel or cotton glove while handling the new bulb
Replace the glass oven light shield
Turn power back on at the main source or plug the appliance back in
Reset the time of day on the clock
