Ensure the cooktop is cool before starting

Gather necessary materials: CookTop® Cleaning Creme and non-abrasive cloth or sponge

Apply CookTop® Cleaning Creme to the ceramic surface

Buff the surface with a non-abrasive cloth or sponge

Is the protective finish visible on the glass surface?

Store CookTop® Cleaning Creme and cleaning materials properly

Activate oven lockout (if applicable)

Remove any knobs from the panel (if needed)

Clean using hot, soapy water and a cloth or sponge

Squeeze excess water from cloth or sponge before wiping the control panel

Wipe the control panel, especially around the controls area

Turn off electrical power at the main source or unplug the appliance

Ensure the oven is unplugged and all parts are cool

Remove the interior oven light shield by pulling the light straight out

Replace the bulb with a new T-4 type Halogen 25 watt appliance bulb

Use a paper towel or cotton glove while handling the new bulb

Replace the glass oven light shield

Are all controls turned to OFF and the cooktop cool?

Light to Moderate Soil Cleaning

Apply a few drops of CookTop® Cleaning Creme directly to the cooktop.

Use a paper towel or non-abrasive cloth or sponge to clean the entire cooktop surface.

Ensure the cooktop is cleaned thoroughly, leaving no residue.

Apply a few drops of CookTop® Cleaning Creme directly to the soiled area.

Rub the soiled area using a non-abrasive cleaning tool, applying pressure as needed.

Ensure all controls are turned off and the range is cool

Cleaning Aluminum and Vinyl Surfaces

Use hot, soapy water and a cloth to clean surfaces

Cleaning Painted and Plastic Parts

Use a soft cloth with mild dish detergent and water, or a 50/50 solution of vinegar and water

Dry and polish with a soft cloth
