Ensure the cooktop is cool and free of any debris

Application of CookTop® Cleaning Creme

Apply the recommended CookTop® Cleaning Creme to the ceramic surface

Buff the surface with a non-abrasive cloth or sponge

Is the protective finish visible on the glass surface?

Ensure the following items are available for future maintenance

Turn off electrical power at the main source or unplug the appliance

Ensure the oven is unplugged and all parts are cool

Remove the interior oven light shield by pulling the light straight out

Replace the bulb with a new T-4 type Halogen 25 watt appliance bulb

Replace the glass oven light shield

Turn power back on at the main source or plug the appliance back in

Ensure all controls are turned off and the range is cool

Cleaning Aluminum and Vinyl Surfaces

Use hot, soapy water and a cloth to clean surfaces

Cleaning Painted and Plastic Parts

Use a soft cloth with mild dish detergent and water, or a 50/50 solution of vinegar and water

Dry and polish with a soft cloth

Ensure all controls are turned to OFF and the cooktop is cool

Light to Moderate Soil Cleaning

Apply a few drops of CookTop® Cleaning Creme directly to the cooktop

Use a paper towel or non-abrasive cloth or sponge to clean the entire cooktop surface

Is the cooktop cleaned thoroughly, leaving no residue?

Apply a few drops of CookTop® Cleaning Creme directly to the soiled area

Ensure all controls are turned off and the appliance is cool

Completely remove all oven racks and any accessories

Remove excessive spills from the oven bottom using hot, soapy water and a cloth

Clean the oven frame, door liner outside the oven door gasket, and the small area at the front center of the oven bottom with soap and water

Press the Up arrow until the desired clean time appears (2:00, 3:00, or 4:00 hours)
