Remove the 2 screws.
Lift and remove the right side plate.
You can remove the fan rotor without detaching the right side plate.
Remove the screw, and then the fan motor fixing plate.
When reassembling the fan motor and the fan rotor, provide as much as 5 mm (0.2 inch) of play between the side face of the rotor and the bottom frame.
Insert the fan motor allowing for approx. 5 mm (0.2 inch) of play.
Tighten the fan rotor screw until it stops. Then give the screw one more turn.
If the fan rotor rotates appropriately, tighten the screw completely.
Horizontal Blade Removal
Warning: Be sure to wait for 10 minutes or more after turning off all power supplies before disassembling work.
1) Bend the horizontal blade (lower) slightly and release the 2 center shafts.
2) Release the left shaft.
When reassembling, mount the large horizontal blade to the upper position and the small horizontal blade to the lower position.
3) Slide the horizontal blade (lower) to the left and release the right shaft.
4) Remove the horizontal blade (upper) in the same way.
Installation procedure

2. Fit the horizontal blade to the center and left shafts.;
Indoor Heat Exchanger Removal
Warning: Be sure to wait for 10 minutes or more after turning off all power supplies before disassembling work.
In pump-down work, be sure to stop the compressor before disconnecting the refrigerant pipe. If the refrigerant pipe is disconnected with the compressor operating and the stop valve open, air may be sucked in and may generate an over-pressure in refrigeration cycle, thus resulting in pipe rupture or accidental injury.
When removing or reinstalling the indoor heat exchanger, be sure to wear gloves or wrap the indoor heat exchanger with cloths. (You may be injured by the fins.)
Caution: Be sure to conduct pump down operation before disassembling the refrigerant pipe.
If the refrigerant leaks, repair the spot of leaking, then collect all refrigerant from the unit. After conducting vacuum drying, recharge proper amount of refrigerant.
From the viewpoint of global environmental protection, make sure to use a vacuum pump for air purging.
Unscrew the flare nut for gas piping and liquid piping and disconnect both pipes.
Hold the indoor unit up with a piece of wood.
Place a plastic sheet around the drain pan to prevent wetting the floor with remaining drain.
Air Filter Removal
Warning: Be sure to wait for 10 minutes or more after turning off all power supplies before disassembling work.
Open the front panel.
Release each air filter from the 2 hooks of the front panel.
Remove the air filter by pulling out downward.
The air filter is not marked for difference between the right and left sides. Insert the air filter with the “FRONT” mark faced up.
When reassembling, insert the air filter along the guides.
Be sure to fasten the hooks when installing the air filter.
Remove the Titanium apatite photocatalytic air-purifying filter, if available, from the 5 hooks.
The right and left filters are interchangeable. Some models have no Titanium apatite photocatalytic air-purifying filter.
Front Grille Removal
Warning: Be sure to wait for 10 minutes or more after turning off all power supplies before disassembling work.
Remove the 3 screws of the front grille.
Unfasten the 3 hooks on the top of the front grille.
The convex marks (...) on the front grille indicate the position of the hooks.
When reassembling, make sure that the 3 hooks are securely fastened.
Pull the upper part of the front grille out and lift the lower part up, and then remove the front grille.
