Open all isolation and / or shut-off valves

Verify that the unit is pressurized with refrigerant in all of its parts before making the connection to the hydraulic circuit.

Check the oil level in the compressors

Control wells, thermometers, manometers, controls, etc. installed

Availability of at least 25% of the machine load for testing and control settings

IMPORTANT: This procedure should be performed by trained personnel only.

CAUTION: In environments with a high concentration of air-borne particles, it might be necessary to clean the condenser coils more often.

Check for particles and fibers that could clog up the exchangers

IMPORTANT: Pay special attention if water rich in calcium carbonate is used.

IMPORTANT: An increase in pressure drops or a decrease in thermal efficiency means that the heat exchangers are clogged.

Check if the heat exchangers are clogged

CAUTION: In environments with a high concentration of air-borne particles, it might be necessary to clean the condenser bank more often.

Is the machine intact and free from deformations?

Check all components described in the delivery note

If any damage is found, do not remove the damaged material and immediately make a written complaint to the transport company.

Upload a set of photographs of the damage

Daikin Applied Europe S.p.A. declines all responsibility for any damage that the machine may suffer during transport to the destination.

Is the model and power supply voltage shown on the nameplate correct?

Responsibility for any damage after acceptance of the unit cannot be attributed to the manufacturer.

Verification of thermal insulation integrity

Clean and paint where necessary

Water analysis: Check for any dissolved metals

Verification of control sequence

Verify contactor wear – Replace if necessary

Verify that all electrical terminals are tight – Tighten if necessary

Clean inside the electrical control board

Measure compressor motor insulation using the Megger

Verify operation of all ventilation fans in the electrical panel

Warning: Failure to clean an E-coated coil will void the warranty and may result in reduced efficiency and durability in the environment.

If the coil is visibly dirty, proceed with the following steps. If not, skip to step 7.

Is the coil clean after the first attempt?

If the coil is not clean after the first attempt, repeat steps 4-6.
