Inverter Analyzer Check
Warning: This procedure requires trained personnel with PPE!
Is the power turned off?
If power is not turned off, stop the procedure and turn off the power
Inverter analyzer installed instead of compressor?
Ensure the charged voltage of the built-in smoothing electrolytic capacitor drops to 10 VDC or below before carrying out the service work
Enter the charged voltage of the built-in smoothing electrolytic capacitor
Power transistor test operation activated from the indoor unit?
Sign off on the Inverter Analyzer Check
Power Module Check
Warning: Ensure the voltage between (+) and (–) of the power module is approximately 0 V before proceeding
Voltage check successful?
Disconnect the compressor harness connector from the outdoor unit PCB
Compressor harness connector disconnected successfully?
Press the protrusion on the connector to disengage it
Connector disengaged successfully?
Measure resistance between the terminals of the power module and the terminals of the compressor with a multimeter
Enter the resistance reading
Sign off on the power module check
Thermistor Resistance Check
Warning: Disconnect the connectors of the thermistors from the PCB before proceeding
Thermistors disconnected from the PCB?
Resistance of each thermistor
Note: The room temperature thermistor is soldered on the PCB
Connector to the control PCB disconnected before measuring the resistance?
If the connector of indoor heat exchanger thermistor is soldered on the PCB, remove the thermistor before measuring the resistance
Indoor heat exchanger thermistor removed and resistance measured?
Sign off on the thermistor resistance check
Rotation Pulse Check
Warning: Ensure that the voltage of 320 + 100 V ~ 320 - 50 V is applied
Set operation off and power off. Disconnect the connector S70 or S71
Voltage between the pins 4 - 7
Control voltage between the pins 4 - 3
Rotation command voltage between the pins 4 - 2
Keep operation off and power off
Connect the connector S70 or S71
4 rotation pulses (0 ~ 15 VDC) at the pins 4 - 1 when the fan motor is rotated 1 turn by hand
Sign off on the rotation pulse check
Indoor Fan Motor Connector Output Check
Check the connection of connector
