Check the lubricant level in the reservoir

Is the lubricant level above the bottom sight glass?

Purge air from the upper circulation hose if necessary

Is there any water accumulation in the reservoir?

Is the fluid level depleting rapidly?

Is there leakage of reservoir fluid from the gland?

Use recommended reservoir lubricant

Ensure the following conditions are met before proceeding

Purge air from the upper circulation hose to prevent vapor locking

Check for water accumulation in the reservoir

Check if the fluid level depletes rapidly

Ensure the pump is not operating before starting the oil change.

Gather necessary tools and materials

Place an oil container under the drain plug.

Remove the drain plug and allow the old oil to completely drain out.

Clean the area around the pipe plug opening to prevent dirt and moisture from entering.

Verify frame size and oil capacity

Is the oil renewal interval within 3-4 months?

Measure the bearing frame temperature at the drain connection

Select the oil type based on temperature

Add oil through the pipe plug opening at the top of the housing

Fill oil to the level indicated on the side of the housing

Ensure no dirt and moisture entered during oil addition

Is the oil level maintained when the pump is not operating?

3200-992 Cutter Modification Kit — Adjusting

Ensure all safety precautions are taken

Disconnect external connections to gain access to suction inlet of pump

Isolate and lockout all power to the pump and motor

Remove the coupling guard for manual rotation of the pump

Loosen cap screws holding stationary cutter plate to volute casing or suction cover

Bottom out the stationary cutter plate to the rotating cutter ring

Set stationary cutter plate to rotating cutter ring clearance between .010"-.020" using adjustable set screws
