1 Daily Separator Cleaning
Warning: Follow all safety guidelines and local regulations while performing this procedure.
Draining Water From Water Separator
Is the desiccator bag removed?
Open the water separator water drain and collect the discharge into a container.
Is the water drain opened and discharge collected?
When the flow stops, close the drain.
Is the drain closed after the flow stopped?
Dispose of the residue in accordance with local regulations.
Is the residue disposed of properly?
6 Monthly Pump Lubrication
Lubricate pump motors with machine oil every 6 months.
The vertical air cylinder may occasionally require a few drops of mineral oil to lubricate the seals. Add lubricant if the lift lowers from an intermediate held position.
An air lubricator may be used on the incoming air supply. Oil residues will be discharged from the solenoid valve exhaust ports. The mufflers may be replaced by hoses exhausting to an oil trap to prevent oil accumulations or oil mists within the degreaser enclosure.
The cylinder may be lubricated directly:
• Raise the lift to the fully up position
• Remove the top air hose
• Remove the top exhaust flow control valve
• Place one or two squirts from an oil can into the port
• Replace the flow control valve and air hose
Controller Replacement
The temperature control board and relay board may be replaced separately.
Disconnect the degreaser from electrical power.
To replace the control or relay board; transfer all wires to the new board, remove the mounting screws, replace the board and reinstall the screws.
To replace the control board:
• Place the Voltage Switch (SW1) in the 230V position
• Set SW2 as follows:
Position 1 Off
Position 2 On
Position 3 Off
Degreaser Cleaning
Boil Down
Is the CONTAMINATION WARNING Indicator lighted but the degreaser has not shut down on B/S TEMP FAULT?
Remove 2-3 inches of solvent from the ultrasonic sump
Is the ultrasonic sump heater exposed?
Is the degreaser boiling until it shuts down on B/S TEMP FAULT or B/S LEVEL FAULT?
Drain the solvent from the boil sump
Refill the degreaser using the solvent removed in the first step. Add solvent as required.
Cleanout Procedure
Is the contamination reaches 25%?
Degreaser Inspection
Warning: Ensure to wear appropriate safety gear during the inspection
Check for loosening of plumbing connections
Upload a photo of the plumbing connections
Check for dampness or cold spots caused by evaporative cooling
Select the method used for leak detection
Enter the CPN number if electronic leak detector is used
Pass the leak detector’s sensor around all plumbing joints and tank seams
Sign off on the degreaser inspection
