Verify refrigerant charge is appropriate for room size

Check ventilation machinery and outlets for adequate operation and obstructions

Inspect secondary circuit for presence of refrigerant if using an indirect refrigerating circuit

Record the current (amps) measurement

Record the water temperature difference for heating

Record the water temperature difference for cooling

Compare recorded data to unit’s data plate and original startup data

Complete the check-out sheet on page 44

Ensure checkup is performed by a trained and qualified HVAC mechanic
