Power tool and the ventilation slots clean

If the power supply cord needs to be replaced, this must be done by Bosch or an authorized after-sales service center.

Saw blade receptacle cleaned with a soft cloth

Remove the saw blade from the power tool before cleaning.

Saw blade receptacle operational using suitable lubricants

Avoid allowing the power tool to become very dirty, as this can lead to serious faults.

No cutting of materials that generate large quantities of dust from below or overhead

Sign off on the reciprocating saw maintenance

Check the length of the carbon brushes every 2–3 months and replace both carbon brushes if required

Never replace only a single carbon brush

Use only carbon brushes supplied by Bosch and designed specifically for your product

Unscrew the caps using a suitable screwdriver

Replace the spring-loaded carbon brushes

Sign off on the carbon brushes inspection
