Safety Interlock System Inspection

WARNING: GENERAL HAZARD Failure to follow Instructions can result in property damage, serious injury, or death. The Safety Interlock System must not allow the machine’s engine to be started unless: the operator is in the operator’s seat, the PTO switch is disengaged (OFF), the clutch pedal is depressed, and the F-N-R lever is in neutral. Contact your dealer for service if the Safety Interlock System does not function properly. DO NOT MODIFY THE SYSTEM

The Safety Interlock System - Neutral Start: The engine will not start unless all the following conditions are present: 1. The operator is seated in the operator’s seat 2. The PTO is in disengaged (off) position 3. The speed range lever is in the neutral position. If the engine starts without all of the above conditions present, the machine must be serviced by your Bobcat dealer

Sit in the operator’s seat - Engage the parking brake - Place all controls in neutral - Raise off of the seat - Turn the key to start. The engine must not start
