Ensure the following parts are available

V-belt Adjustment on Rigid Base Plate

Remove appropriate quantity of shims (Part No. 324A) under the motor until the desired total flex of the V-belt is approximately ½”.

V-belt Adjustment on Floating Adjustable Motor Mounting Plates

Loosen the upper wing nuts (Part No. 16015-3).

Loosen the bottom wing nuts (Part No. 16015-3) located under the mounting plate.

Allow the motor mounting plate to drop to the desired belt tension.

Re-tighten the upper wing nuts evenly to keep the motor horizontal.

Turn off and unplug the machine from the power source

Perform Lockout/Tagout procedure

Use only recommended cleaning equipment and materials

Remove and clean parts in the numbered sequence

Check and change parts as required

Check condition of saw guide bar

Is the saw guide bar spring tension proper?

Replace saw guide bar if necessary

Replace saw guide bar spring if necessary

Remove the finger lift fastener knob and the finger lift assembly

Remove the finger lift fastener stud

Push the saw guide bar up and out of the top of the head structure

Inspect the machine for any damage or tampering

Check the following parts for cracks, gouges, or wear

Clean outer diameter grooves of saw wheels

Ensure upper wheel assembly is not immersed in water

Oil the saw guide bar with food machine oil

Oil the meat gauge gear rack with food machine oil

Check for smooth operation through full range of travel

Check condition of trigger spring, replace as necessary

Check free movement of meat gauge plate on gear rack

Lubricate gear rack with light food grade oil

Check operation of release handle

Check that worm gear engages properly with gear rack

Check tension of release handle spring, replace as necessary
