Turn off the machine and unplug from power source

Perform Lockout/Tagout procedure

Use only recommended cleaning equipment and materials

Avoid spraying water or other liquids directly at motor, power switch, or electrical components

Thoroughly clean equipment at least daily

Parts Removal and Cleaning Sequence

Ensure all necessary parts are available

V-belt Adjustment on Rigid Base Plate

Remove shims to adjust V-belt tension

V-belt Adjustment on Floating Adjustable Motor Mounting Plates

Loosen the upper wing nuts (Part No. 16015-3)

Loosen the bottom wing nuts (Part No. 16015-3) under the mounting plate

Allow motor mounting plate to drop to desired belt tension

Re-tighten the upper wing nuts evenly to keep motor horizontal

Check condition of fiber cleaner

Change fiber cleaner if necessary

Check condition of nylon filler (Part No. 177)

Change nylon filler if necessary

Check condition of blade cleaners

Replace blade cleaners if necessary

Inspect machine for good condition and signs of damage or tampering

Clean outer diameter grooves of saw wheels

Check saw wheels for cracks, gouges, or wear on the flange and grooves

Ensure upper wheel assembly is not immersed in water

Oil saw guide bar with food machine oil

Oil meat gauge gear rack with food machine oil

Check condition of saw guide bar

Is the saw guide bar spring tension proper?

Remove the finger lift fastener knob and the finger lift assembly

Remove the finger lift fastener stud

Push the saw guide bar up and out of the top of the head structure

Remove the saw guide bar spring
