500 Hourly / 3 Monthly Cooler Cleaning
WARNING! Stop the compressor, press the emergency stop button and switch off the voltage
The operator must apply all relevant Safety precautions
Unscrew bolts and rotate the fan away from the cooler block
Remove any dirt form the coolers with a fibre brush, brush in the direction of the fins
Also remove any dirt from the fans
Clean the coolers with an air jet in the reverse direction to normal flow
Use low pressure air, if necessary, the pressure may be increased up to 6 bar (e) (87 psig)
If it is necessary to clean the coolers with a cleaning agent, consult Atlas Copco
Reposition and fix the fan
1 Yearly Safety Valve Testing
WARNING! Stop the compressor and switch off the voltage
The operator must apply all relevant Safety precautions
Never run the compressor without safety valves
No adjustments are allowed
The valve can be tested on a separate compressed air line
Consult the Atlas Copco Customer Centre if the valve does not open at the correct pressure
Inspect all flexibles every 1 Year;
50 Hourly / 1 Weekly Oil Injected Rotary Screw Compressor Service
Warning: This service requires trained personnel with PPE!
Check the oil level in the oil collectors
Is it necessary to empty the collectors?
If necessary, empty the collectors and take the oil to the local collection service
Confirm that the covers of the vessels are in place to prevent possible evaporation
Drain condensate from the air receiver
Sign off on the service
3 Monthly Oil Injected Rotary Screw Compressor Maintenance
On compressors equipped with an OSD, remove, dismantle and clean the float valve of the condensate traps
Clean compressor
Check for possible leaks
Remove air filter elements and inspect;
4000 Hourly / 1 Yearly Oil Filter Replacement
WARNING! Stop the compressor and switch off the voltage. The operator must apply all relevant Safety precautions.
Compressor stopped and voltage switched off?
Air outlet valve closed?
Wait a few minutes and depressurise by unscrewing plug only one turn to permit any pressure in the system to escape.
Depressurisation successful?
Use an oil pan to avoid possible oil spillage.
Oil pan in place?
Unscrew oil filters only one turn and wait a few minutes to let the oil of the filter flow back into the oil separator.
