1 Yearly Safety Valve Testing
WARNING! Stop the compressor and switch off the voltage
The operator must apply all relevant Safety precautions
Never run the compressor without safety valves
No adjustments are allowed
The valve can be tested on a separate compressed air line
Consult the Atlas Copco Customer Centre if the valve does not open at the correct pressure
Inspect all flexibles every 1 Year
Did the safety valve open at the correct pressure?
Upload a photo of the tested safety valve
500 Hourly / 3 Monthly Cooler Cleaning
WARNING! Stop the compressor, press the emergency stop button and switch off the voltage
The operator must apply all relevant Safety precautions
Unscrew bolts and rotate the fan away from the cooler block
Remove any dirt form the coolers with a fibre brush, brush in the direction of the fins
Also remove any dirt from the fans
Clean the coolers with an air jet in the reverse direction to normal flow
Use low pressure air, if necessary, the pressure may be increased up to 6 bar (e) (87 psig)
If it is necessary to clean the coolers with a cleaning agent, consult Atlas Copco
Reposition and fix the fan
8000 Hourly / 2 Yearly Roto-Xtend Duty Fluid Oil Change
Atlas Copco Roto-Xtend Duty Fluid is a high-quality synthetic lubricant for oil-injected scroll and screw compressors which keeps the compressor in excellent condition
Roto-Xtend Duty Fluid can be used for compressors operating at ambient temperatures between 0 ̊C (32 ̊F) and 46 ̊C (115 ̊F)
Run the compressor until warm
Stop the compressor, close the air outlet valve and switch off the voltage
Wait a few minutes and depressurise by unscrewing plug only one turn to permit any pressure in the system to escape
Loosen the vent plugs on top of the oil coolers
Drain the oil by removing the drain plugs
Tighten the plugs after draining
Remove filler plug
50 Hourly / 1 Weekly Oil Injected Rotary Screw Compressor Service
On compressors equipped with an OSD, check the oil level in the oil collectors
If necessary, empty the collectors and take the oil to the local collection service
Keep the covers of the vessels in place to prevent possible evaporation
Drain condensate from the air receiver, if installed every 1 Week;
8 Hourly / 1 Daily Oil Injected Rotary Screw Compressor Check
Check readings on display
Check that condensate is discharged during loading
Check oil level. Before starting, the level should be in the middle of the sight-glass
