Measure voltage between terminals TH and GND

Is the voltage above 19.75VAC +/- 0.1VAC for at least 3 seconds?

Did the ignition control enter Start Up Mode?

Did the ignition control enter Lockout Mode with Error Code 2?

Unexpected Presence of Flame test

Disconnect electric power to the tumble dryer before servicing.

Close gas shut-off valve to gas tumble dryer before servicing.

Close steam valve to steam tumble dryer before servicing.

Ensure all guards/panels are in place before starting the tumble dryer.

Reconnect any removed ground wires to ensure proper grounding of the tumble dryer.

Check for potential issues affecting airflow switch operation

Is the airflow switch operating properly?

Inspect the area surrounding tumble dryers and remove all combustible materials, including lint.

Check cylinder for foreign objects.

Open the lint panel or lint drawer (for stack models).

Remove all accumulated lint in the lint compartment area.

Lightly brush any lint left on the lint screen.

Ensure the lint screen completely covers the opening in the lint screen panel.

Disconnect electric power to the tumble dryer before servicing.

Close gas shut-off valve to gas tumble dryer before servicing.

Close steam valve to steam tumble dryer before servicing.

Ensure all guards/panels are in place before starting the tumble dryer.

Reconnect any removed ground wires to ensure proper grounding of the tumble dryer.

Remove all lint from lint compartments and lint screen.

Is the auxiliary alarm output disconnected from the separate alarm system?

Remove any lint from the lint compartment.

Ensure temperature sensors are free of lint.

Place a load of dry towels in the tumble dryer.

Unlock the fire suppression system control box.

Press and hold the test button, verify the light is on and water sprays into the cylinder.

After 15 seconds of water spray, press and hold the reset button until water spray is off and light is off.
