Is the auxiliary alarm output disconnected from the separate alarm system?

Remove any lint from the lint compartment.

Ensure temperature sensors are free of lint.

Place a load of dry towels in the tumble dryer.

Ensure cylinder baffles are positioned correctly.

Unlock the fire suppression system control box.

Press and hold the test button and verify the light is on.

Disconnect electric power to the tumble dryer

Close gas shut-off valve to gas tumble dryer

Close steam valve to steam tumble dryer

Ensure all guards/panels are in place before starting the tumble dryer

Reconnect any removed ground wires

Measure the pull force required to open the door (in pounds)

Is the pull force within the specified range?

Hardware and Connections Inspection

Steam Filter and Panel Maintenance

Check steam filter and replace if dirty

Remove all front panels and vacuum, including coin drop mechanisms

Check cylinder and front panel seals

Inspect cabinet and inner panels for any damage, replace or repair as needed

Burner and Fire Suppression System Maintenance

Ensure main supplies of electricity and water to the tumble dryer are on at all times.

Verify that the water dispensing system is not activated.

Check water pressure is between 20 psi [138 kPa] and 120 psi [827 kPa].

Ensure water temperature is between 40°F [4.5°C] and 120°F [49°C].

Confirm 3/4 inch hose connections providing 15 gpm [57 lpm] minimum flow are in place.

Is the temperature inside the tumble dryer above 40°F [4.5°C]?

Measure the voltage between terminals TH and GND

Is the voltage above 19.75VAC +/- 0.1VAC?

Verify the gas valve connection

Did the Diagnostic LED display Error Code 2?

Perform Unexpected Presence of Flame test

Did the Diagnostic LED display Error Code 3 during Unexpected Presence of Flame test?
