Power the gearmotor to charge the springs at the relevant rated voltage

Perform some closing and opening operations

Power the undervoltage coil and perform the closing operation on the circuit-breaker

Turn off the voltage supply to the trip unit

Power the undervoltage coil again and perform the closing operation on the circuit-breaker

Check that the interlocking devices are installed and operate correctly

Ensure interlocks are not tested in the Test or Disconnected positions

Describe any issues found during the interlock check

Maintenance Activity: Functionality

Perform maintenance as indicated in the table below

Refer to kit sheet for detailed maintenance operations

Maintenance Activity: Lubrication

Set the circuit-breaker to the open position and ensure the springs of the operating mechanism are discharged

Work with the circuit-breaker removed from the fixed part

Disconnect the power circuit and auxiliary circuits and visibly earth the terminals on both the supply side and load side

Clean and Lubricate Jaw-Type Isolating Contacts

Disassemble safety shutters (only IEC) before cleaning and lubricating

Clean the jaw-type isolating contacts using a laminate thinner such as Chemma 18 or equivalent if there is a heavy coating of dirt

Lubricate the jaw-type isolating contacts with Mobilgrease 28 at the indicated points

Check that the interlocking devices are installed and operate correctly

Ensure interlocks are not tested in the Test or Disconnected positions

Maintenance Frequency and Operations

Select the maintenance frequency condition met

Is cable replacement advisable?

Circuit-breaker OFF: Open the circuit-breaker

Circuit-breaker connected: Switch the circuit-breaker in withdrawable version to the connected position and reposition the crank in its seat

Trip unit Parameters: Adjust the protection trip unit in accordance with the design specifications of the installation

Removal of the Ekip TT: If present, remove the Ekip TT unit

Connecting the voltage: Connect the auxiliary voltage

Closing the switchgear: Close the switchgear door

Charging the springs: Charge the closing springs

Undervoltage coil: Make sure that undervoltage coil is energized
