Drive stopped and electrical safety precautions followed

Cleaned with dry, clean and oil-free compressed air from bottom to top

Used a vacuum cleaner at the air outlet to trap the dust

Was the cleaning done in another room if there was a risk of dust entering adjoining equipment?

Sign off on the heatsink cleaning

Quality of supply voltage check

Check DC circuit capacitors reforming for spare modules and spare capacitors

Inspection of terminal tightness

Sign off on the 1 Year Drive Maintenance

WARNING! Obey the safety instructions of the drive. If you ignore them, injury or death, or damage to the equipment can occur. If you are not a qualified electrical professional, do not do installation or maintenance work.

Drive stopped and electrical safety precautions followed

Fan cover opened with a suitable flat screwdriver

Fan cover lifted out and set aside

Fan lifted and pulled from its base

Fan power cable disconnected from the extension cable connector

Fan replaced with the arrow indicating the air flow direction pointing up

Fan cover placed back on the frame

Warning: This procedure requires trained personnel with PPE!

Check if the mission time of functional safety components is 20 years

If the mission time is not 20 years, stop the procedure and report to the maintenance team

Choose the type of service done

Enter the age of the oldest component in the circuit

Check if the safety function circuit passed the post-replacement test

Sign off on the safety components replacement

Warning: Only trained personnel should perform this procedure

Enter the surrounding air temperature

Check if the capacitors are damaged

If capacitors are damaged, contact ABB immediately

Enter the last date the drive was powered

If the drive has not been powered for a year or more, the capacitors must be reformed

Sign off on the capacitors maintenance
