Sign off on the battery replacement

9 Yearly Drive Module Main Fan Replacement

Drive stopped and electrical safety precautions followed

Drive module removed from the cabinet

Support legs of the pedestal opened

Two screws that fasten the fan assembly plate undone

Fan assembly plate tilted down

Power supply wires of the fans disconnected

Fan assembly removed from the drive module

Fastening screws of the fan(s) undone and fan(s) removed from the assembly plate

Run this procedure

ZCU-12 Memory Unit Replacement

Warning: Do not remove or insert the memory unit when the control unit is powered.

Drive stopped and electrical safety precautions followed

Clip at the side of the memory pulled up

Memory unit removed

Memory unit installed in reverse order

Note: After power-up, the drive will scan the memory unit. This can take several minutes.

Sign off on the memory unit replacement

Cleaning the Interior of the Cabinet

WARNING! Use a vacuum cleaner with antistatic hose and nozzle, and wear a grounding wristband. Using a normal vacuum cleaner creates static discharges which can damage circuit boards.

Drive stopped and electrical safety precautions followed

Cabinet door opened

Interior of the cabinet cleaned using a vacuum cleaner and a soft brush

Air inlets of the fans and air outlets of the modules (top) cleaned

Air inlet gratings (if any) on the door cleaned

Door closed

Sign off on the cleaning procedure
