1 Year Three-position Enabling Device Function Test

Start the robot system and turn the mode switch to manual mode.

Check mark

Press the three-position enabling device to the middle position and then hold the enabling device in this position. Check if the event message 10011 Motors ON state appears in the event log.

While still holding the three-position enabling device pressed, press the enabling device harder to the enable the device's third position. Check if the event message 10012 Safety guard stop state appears in the event log.

Start the robot system and change the operating mode to manual.

Create a test program where the robot moves along a known distance with a programmed speed higher than 250 mm/s. The distance and speed must be adapted to the current installation and robot model.

WARNING! The unit is sensitive to ESD. Inspect connectors and cabling to make sure they are securely fastened and cabling not damaged.
