Shut off all electrical power to the unit to avoid shock hazard or injury from rotating parts.

Surface Loaded Fibers or Dirt Removal

Remove surface loaded fibers or dirt using one of the following methods

Ensure surface loaded fibers are completely removed prior to water rinse.

Ensure water temperature is less than 130°F during rinsing.

Ensure water pressure is less than 900 psig during rinsing.

Ensure the unit is not in operation before inspection

Verify that a qualified service technician is performing the inspection

Inspection of Flue Product Carrying Areas

Inspect all flue product carrying areas of the furnace for safe operation

Inspect main burners for safe operation

Is the furnace and main burners safe for continued operation?

Ensure all necessary cleaning agents and tools are available

Verify the following approved cleaning agents are available

Confirm no harsh chemicals, household bleach, or acid cleaners are present

Ensure personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn

Clean the coil with Enviro-Coil Concentrate

Remove any grease or oil film with the approved cleaning agent

Check that all the parts are in place

Inspect the unit for any visible damage

Record any issues found during inspection

Set unit controls to cooling mode of operation with supply fans on

Is the fan operating in the correct direction?

Is the compressor operating correctly?

Is the compressor rotating correctly?
