Check all electrical connections

Inspect the unit for any visible damage

Test the unit's operational functionality

Record any issues found during inspection

Verify that all safety features are operational

Sign off on the maintenance log

Has the need for cleaning been confirmed by a qualified service agency?

Has consultation with an AAON Service representative been completed?

Ensure cleaning is performed by a qualified service agency.

Describe any issues identified during cleaning.

Was the cleaning process completed successfully?

Ensure the following items are ready

Pump the cleaning liquid through the exchanger

Set the cleaning solution flow rate

Is the cleaning performed in back-flush mode?

Rinse the heat exchanger with clean water

Use a solution of 1-2% sodium hydroxide or sodium bicarbonate before the last rinse

Set unit controls to cooling mode of operation with supply fans on

Is the fan operating in the correct direction?

Is the compressor operating correctly?

Is the compressor rotating correctly?

Shut off all electrical power to the unit to avoid shock hazard or injury from rotating parts.

Surface Loaded Fibers or Dirt Removal

Remove surface loaded fibers or dirt using one of the following methods

Ensure surface loaded fibers are completely removed before water rinse.

Verify water temperature is less than 130°F.

Verify water pressure is less than 900 psig.

Perform a low velocity clean water rinse.
