1 Daily Battery Electrolyte Level Inspection

Warning: Always use distilled water for battery maintenance.

Is the electrolyte level within the correct limits?

If the electrolyte level is below the top of the separators, the cell can be damaged.

Did you use distilled water?

Wait five minutes before measuring the specific gravity with a hydrometer.

Is the specific gravity within the correct limits?

Do not add distilled water to a cell during the charging cycle.

Upload a photo of the electrolyte level.

Sign off on the daily battery electrolyte level inspection.

LUBRICATION CHECK:

- Blow off, Clean When Necessary and Inspect for Damage.

- Lubricate-Chassis (All Fittings)

- All Linkage

- Friction Surfaces on Mast

- Friction Surfaces on Attachment

- Clean and Lube Lift Chains

- Differential Gear Oil Level

350 Hourly Pallet Truck Maintenance

Apply lithiumbase,multi-purpose No.2 grease with a high pressure gun to the following fittings. Clean lube fittings before and after lubricating.

LOCATION OF LUBE FITTINGS - NO. OF FITTINGS:

1. Drive Unit Bearing-Access Holes in Drive Unit Compartment - 2

2. Brake Shoe Pivot Pins-Remove Drive Unit Cover - 2

3. Brake Linkage

4. Coupler Linkage

Apply grease to the following friction surfaces:

5. Brake Cam and Roller Assembly

6. Drive Unit-Check gear oil level. Elevate truck to access drive unit. Keep truck level. Remove cover. Remove drive unit oil level and fill plug. Oil should run out slightly. Add oil, if necessary, until oil runs out oil level and fill hole. Replace oil level and fill plug. DO NOT OVERFILL.

8 Hourly / 1 Daily Pallet Truck Check

Note: This check must be made by the truck operator daily at the start of the shift. Retain this form for one year.
