Record all temperature readings

Micronic Oil Filter Maintenance

Check micronic oil filter inlet pressure

Check micronic oil filter outlet pressure

Is the pressure drop across the micronic oil filter greater than 45 psi?

Change micronic oil filter if pressure drop exceeds 45 psi or every six months, whichever occurs first

Check calibration and operation of all controls

Inspect oil cooler for corrosion

Inspect oil cooler for other fouling

Shut down the compressor unit, refer to Stopping/Restarting procedure in Section 4

Turn disconnect switches to the OFF position for the compressor unit and oil pump motor starter, if equipped

Allow compressor, motor and surrounding components to cool prior to servicing

Disconnect connectors from actuator

Note orientation of components to aid in installation

Remove E-clips, Locking Retainers, Grooved Bolts and Washes securing actuator assembly to actuator mount

Remove actuator assembly from actuator mount

Shut down and isolate compressor unit

Remove components securing the command shaft assembly

Remove the command shaft and mounting plate from the compressor

Install a new o-ring (446) into the groove on the compressor discharge manifold

Apply clean compressor lubricating oil on the o-ring

Install the command shaft onto the compressor discharge manifold

Check the refrigeration system for leaks with a suitable leak detector

Review the microprocessor log and log sheets

Check refrigerant levels in vessels
