1 Yearly Dryer Dewpoint Sensor Replacement
Preparation
Remove power from the unit
Sensor Removal
Locate the sensor manifold assembly
Remove socket
Unscrew retaining nut
Remove sensor and insert from manifold
Sensor Replacement
Remove the insert from the sensor
1 Yearly Dryer Molecular Sieve Testing
Preparation
Ensure the molecular sieve sample is suspected to need replacement.
Check for large percentage of broken pellets, dust, contamination, or discoloration.
Regeneration of Desiccant
Set oven temperature to 600°F / 316°C.
Regenerate desiccant in oven for 2 hours.
Place desiccant into an air tight jar and allow it to cool to room temperature for at least 12 hours.
Testing Desiccant Effectiveness
Pour 30ml of water into a small glass.
Initial Blower Motor Rotation Check
Pre-Check Preparation
Ensure the unit is powered off before starting the check
Verify that the Blower Rotation Alarm is installed on the unit
Blower Motor Rotation Check
Is the Blower Rotation Alarm activated?
Is the alarm light on and message displayed on the digital readout?
Is the process blower motor rotating clockwise?
Corrective Action
If the blower rotation is incorrect, reverse any two of the three incoming power leads to the terminal block

Check that all components are functioning properly

Enter the amp draw of heaters
Enter the amp draw of blower motors
Refer to wiring diagram, insert, and individual motor nameplate for specifications
Blower Motor Rotation Check
Initial Inspection
Ensure the unit is powered off before inspection
Verify that the Blower Rotation Alarm is present on the unit
Blower Motor Rotation Check
Is the Blower Rotation Alarm activated?
Is the blower motor rotating clockwise?
Corrective Action
Power off the unit before making any corrections
Reverse any two of the three incoming power leads to the terminal block
