Measure the current battery voltage

Is the battery voltage within the normal range?

Is there an audible battery warning?

Is there a visible battery warning?

Verify the type of battery used

Ensure optional accessories are available

Insert the 6150AD into the holder 761.1 with its front side towards the thread for the check source.

Screw the check source into the holder until it touches the marking spot on the front side of the 6150AD.

Switch the 6150AD on and move to dose rate mean value indication by pressing the function key.

Enter the measuring time (in minutes)

Record the indicated mean value as the check reading.

Opening the Battery Compartment

Press in the twist locks on the battery compartment cover as far as possible.

Twist the locks approximately 45° counter-clockwise to open the compartment.

Closing the Battery Compartment

Align the twist locks according to their grooves and those on the cover.

Press down the twist locks and turn them clockwise as far as possible.

Release the twist locks to snap the interlocking pin into place.
