Light the boiler
Verify the pilot flame conditions
Pilot Flame Adjustment
Remove the cover cap
Adjust the flame using the adjuster screw
Replace the cover cap

Safety Precautions
Turn OFF the gas supply at the inlet gas cock
Switch OFF and DISCONNECT the electricity supply
Remove Controls Box Front Panel
Remove controls box front panel as described in L.E.D. lights assembly
Store the front panel in a suitable place

Unplug wires from overheat thermostat
Unplug the lead from printed circuit board No. 2

Safety Precautions
Turn OFF the gas supply at the inlet gas cock
Switch OFF and DISCONNECT the electricity supply
Control Box Removal
Remove the two screws and washers securing the control box to the side panels
Lift the control box off the locating hooks
Electrical Connectors Removal
Unfasten the two screws securing the plug-in electrical connectors to the rear of the control box
Remove the connector
Main Burner Check
Testing the Main Burner
Check that the main burner responds correctly to the manual ON/OFF operations of any controls fitted in the gas control circuit.
Flame Failure Safety Device Operation
Extinguish the main burner and pilot burner by turning off the main gas inlet cock (Fig. 12) (C).
Wait for 1½ minutes.
Was the thermocouple operated solenoid valve heard to close during the waiting period?

Safety Precautions
Turn OFF the gas supply at the inlet gas cock
Switch OFF and DISCONNECT the electricity supply
Main Burner Removal
Remove the burner front plate
Remove left and right hand burners
Centre Burner Removal
Disconnect the pilot pipe and thermocouple connections at the gas valve
Pull off the igniter lead at the igniter
