Motor Base Cleaning Instructions

Ensure the motor base is not immersed in water

Clean the motor base using a damp cloth or sponge

Apply food safe lubricant to the motor seal

Inspect the motor seal for wear and tear

Is the motor seal in good condition?

Replace the motor seal if necessary

Is the motor completely watertight after maintenance?

Remove the lid from the bowl cutter attachment.

Rotate the bowl to the left to remove it from the motor base.

Pull up to disengage the bowl, leaving the blade inside.

What is the consistency of the food in the bowl?

Remove the blade from the bowl.

Inspection of Bowl Locating Plates

Inspect the condition of the bowl locating plates

Replacement of Bowl Locating Plates

Ensure the machine is powered off and unplugged

Remove the bowl from the motor base

Detach the worn-out locating plates

Secure the bowl to the motor base with new plates

Check the condition of the blades

Use the sharpening stone to sharpen the blades

Is the blade sharpness satisfactory after sharpening?

Do the blades need replacement due to wear?
