Inspection of Bowl Locating Plates

Inspect the condition of the bowl locating plates for wear and tear

Is the bowl securely attached to the motor base?

Replacement of Bowl Locating Plates

Remove the worn-out bowl locating plates

Install new bowl locating plates

Is the bowl securely attached after replacement?

Test the safety system to ensure it stops the machine if the bowl is loose

Unplug the appliance before cleaning

Ensure the motor unit is not placed in water

Clean the appliance and its attachments at the end of each cycle

Use suitable cleaning fluids for parts made of aluminum alloys

Unplug the appliance before opening the motor housing

Check that all seals and washers are in place and in good condition

Are all safety devices in good working order?

Check and maintain all attachments for signs of corrosion

List any attachments with signs of corrosion

Apply food safe lubricant to the motor seal

Inspect the motor seal for wear and tear

Is the motor seal in good condition?

Replace the motor seal if necessary

Bowl Removal and Initial Cleaning

Remove the lid from the bowl cutter attachment

Rotate the bowl to the left to remove it from the motor base

Pull up to disengage the bowl, leaving the blade inside

Check the consistency of the food in the bowl

If the food is solid, remove the blade and empty the bowl

Replace the bowl on the motor base
