Unplug the appliance before cleaning

Motor Base Cleaning Instructions

Ensure the motor base is not immersed in water

Clean the motor base using a damp cloth or sponge

Inspect the blades for any visible damage or wear

Are the blades in good condition?

Use the sharpening stone supplied with the machine to sharpen the blades

Is the blade sharpness satisfactory after sharpening?

Do the blades need replacement due to wear?

Replace the blades if necessary

Inspection of Bowl Locating Plates

Check the condition of the bowl locating plates for wear and tear

Ensure the bowl is securely attached to the motor base

Remove the worn bowl locating plates

Install new bowl locating plates

Verify the new plates are securely attached

Test the machine to ensure the bowl does not come loose during processing

Remove the lid from the bowl cutter attachment

Rotate the bowl to the left to remove it from the motor base

Pull up to disengage the bowl, leaving the blade inside if working with liquids

Unplug the appliance before opening the motor housing

Check that all the seals and washers are in place and in good condition

Are all safety devices in good working order?

Check and maintain attachments for corrosive agents

Is the power cord or plug damaged in any way?
