Squeegee Removal

Is the squeegee in the down position?

Is the key switch off and key removed?

Is the vacuum hose disconnected from the squeegee?

Are the (2) knobs loosened?

Is the squeegee assembly pulled rearward from the lifting carrier?

Is the squeegee assembly inspected or repaired as necessary?

Is the squeegee assembly reinstalled?

Cylindrical Side Wiper Adjustment

The cylindrical deck comes equipped with side wipers for increased water control when turning.

To adjust the side wipers, first loosen the locking nut (A), then turn the adjusting screw (B) in to raise or out to lower the height of the side wiper blade. The spring (C) provides tension during adjustment.

A properly adjusted side wiper will have slight blade deflection on the floor when turning.

Squeegee Adjustment

Warning: Adjustments should be made by trained personnel only

Is the adjustment knob turned clock-wise?

Battery Maintenance

SAFETY:

Wearing protective clothing, gloves and goggles

Area clear of flames, sparks and metal objects

Battery charging in a well-ventilated area

No objects laid on top of battery

All cable connections to the terminal properly tightened

INSPECTION & CLEANING:

Batteries clean and dry from residue

All vent caps are tight

200 Hourly Rider Floor Scrubber Maintenance

Check battery case and battery compartment for any damage or wear

Check brake for damage or wear

Clean pivot points on squeegee and scrub deck

Check all motors for carbon brush wear

Check motor commutators

Check steering chain tensioner

NOTE: Traction drive, wheels and batteries should be serviced based on traction drive hour meter. The scrub brush hour meter should be used for all other service schedule items.
