Control Panel Replacement
WARNING: Risk of electrical shock. Failure to observe may result in personal injury, death, or equipment damage.

Check the tools you have
WARNING: Disconnect the bulk melter from the line voltage.
Main switch set to 0/OFF and electrical cabinet door opened
Bus cable unplugged from old control panel
M4 hexagon nuts and tooth lock washers removed
Old control panel and old seal pressed forwards and out of the electrical cabinet door
New control panel inserted and secured using the tooth lock washers
15000 Hourly / 2 Yearly Motor and Gear Box Lubricant Change
Warning: Only trained personnel should perform this procedure
Drain lubricant when warm
Use only the stated lubricant or one that has proven to be equivalent
Using any other lubricant can result in premature wear and/or damage to the gear box
Properly dispose of the old lubricant according to local regulations
Remove gear box from the motor to change lubricant
Wash out casing with suitable cleaning agent and remove lubricant residue
Lubricant Changing Interval: Every 15000 hours of operation or at least every 2 to 3 years
Capacity: The lubricant quantity is indicated on the ID plate
Initial Melter Maintenance
Warning: This maintenance check requires trained personnel with PPE!
Re-tighten the following components with a torque wrench while the material is still soft (approx. 70 ° C/158 ° F, depending on the material)

Hose Fitting, A
Re-tighten the following components with a torque wrench crosswise
Pump: Fixing screws, A, B
Safety valve, A
Sign off on the melter maintenance
1 Daily Fan And Air Filter Maintenance
Depending on dust accumulation, the air filters in the fan and for the air outlet must be cleaned (knocked out) or replaced.
Refer to separate document Parts for filter order numbers.

Check melting plate for charred material, clean if necessary
- Base plate:
Check base plate for material residue or other impurities, clean if necessary;
