Replace Unreadable Labels (See Section 7)

Clean And Tighten Torch Connections (See Section 4-4)

Turn Off power source and disconnect input power.

If torch or work cable needs to be removed or replaced, proceed as follows:

Insert cables through access holes

If certain problems occur, the Ready light goes Off, a trouble light comes On, and output stops.

Lights if low gas/alr pressure is sensed by pressure switch S4, or il shield cup is loose. Turn power Off, and check shield cup connection (see torch Owner's Manual). Check for proper gas/air pressure (see Section 3-2).

Lights if a short exists between tip and electrode. Check tip and elec- trode (see torch Owner's Manual).

Lights if power source overheats (sea Section 3-5).;

Ready light goes Off and Gas/Air Or Shield Cup light comes On after removing shield cup

Report any issues found during Shield Cup Shutdown System check

Ready light goes Off and Torch-To-Tip light comes On after touching torch tip to workpiece

Report any issues found during Torch-To-Tip Short System check

Air supply pressure is between 80-150 psi
