Enter the number of hours the instrument was used without line power

Enter the number of hours the instrument was charged

Is the internal battery fully charged?

Perform instrument QC Check by exposing the detector to a known source

Ensure necessary equipment is available

Perform mechanical checks (switch function and digital readouts illumination)

Remove the outside cover of the Model 3030

Initial Connections and Settings

Connect the Model 3030 to the computer and load default settings

Ensure jumper on amplifier/processor board is on the inside two pins
