8000 Hourly Oil Change
Safety Precautions
Shut off all power to the Unit, and drain the Tank of air pressure.
Always re-install the Beltguard after adjusting the Belts or Pulleys.
Insist on Genuine Ingersoll Rand parts and kits when maintaining your Compressor Unit and Pump.
Risk of burns from hot components and oil! Wear long-sleeved clothing and protective gloves.
Changing the oil with internal pressure
Has the machine been running at least 5 minutes in LOAD mode?
Is the machine fully vented, the pressure gauge on the oil separator tank reads 0 psig?
Is the shut-off valve 10 in the venting line closed?
1 Yearly Safety Relief Valve Test
Warning: Excessive noise is caused when the safety relief valve blows off! Close all access doors, replace and secure all removable panels. Wear hearing protection.
Precondition: The machine is switched off.
User's shut-off valve between the machine and the air distribution network closed?
Read off the activating pressure on the valve.
Log on to SIGMA CONTROL 2 with access level 2.
Observe the display of pressure on SIGMA CONTROL 2 and call up the test function.
Warning: Risk of burns due to released cooling oil and compressed air when blowing off the safety relief valve! Close all access doors, replace and secure all removable panels. Wear eye protection.
Safety relief valve blew off or working pressure exceeded the activating pressure of the safety relief valve by nearly 14.7 psig?
If necessary, vent the machine and replace the defective safety relief valve?
1 Weekly Condensate Drain Check
Precondition: The machine is switched off.
Danger of burns from hot components near the condensate drain! Work with caution.
Lightly touch the condensate drain hose at the condensate drain.
Push and hold the «TEST» key at the condensate drain for at least 2 seconds.
Did you feel a short burst at the condensate drain hose?
Service the condensate drain if you do not experience a burst during a manual check.
Sign off on the condensate drain check
1000 Hourly Cooler Filter Mats Cleaning
Precondition: The machine is switched off.
Filter mat removed from the retaining frame
Loose dirt removed from the filter mat
Was the filter mat washed with lukewarm water and household detergent?
Was the filter mat changed?
Filter mat inserted in the retaining frame
Sign off on the filter mat cleaning
1000 Hourly Air Filter Check
Warning: The use of an unsuitable air filter element can permit dirt to ingress the pressure system and cause damage to the machine.
Do all sealing surfaces match each other?
Is the air filter element suitable?
Note: The air filter element cannot be cleaned.
