John Deere Zero-Turn Mower Z930R

Lubricate one mower deck spindle grease fitting (A), located in the center of the deck.

Lubricate two mower deck spindle grease fittings (B).

Lubricate both front caster wheel pivot grease fittings (A) with John Deere Special Purpose HD Water Resistant NM Grease or John Deere Multi-Purpose HD Lithium Complex Grease.

Sign off on the lubrication process

Removing and Installing Rear Drive Wheels

Four-wheel nuts slightly loosened

Machine lifted with a safe lifting device

Nuts tightened in a star pattern until recommended torque value is reached

Check air cleaner elements and replace as necessary

Change engine oil and filter or annually

Park machine safely on a level surface

Put container under oil drain area

Warning: Park machine safely before starting the procedure

Are both motion control levers moved forward?

Are the levers equally aligned?

If levers are not equally aligned, proceed to alignment procedure

Are both left and right motion control levers moved to desired position until they are aligned?

Sign off on the motion control levers maintenance

Park machine on a hard, level surface.

Stop the engine and lock the park brake.

Raise the mower deck to the transport position.

Lift the operator seat and lock into position.

While Looking from Rear of Machine:

Turn the hex nut (B) clockwise to increase the spring tension.

Turn the hex nut (B) counterclockwise to decrease the spring tension.

Sign off on the spring tension maintenance
