After Each Use Maintenance
Check / fill fuel.
Clean debris from machine.
Clean debris from cooling system.
Park machine safely on a level surface.
Remove covers.
Remove spark plug wires.
With compressed air, thoroughly clean debris buildup.
Install spark plug wires.
Install two covers on shroud.
100 Hourly Maintenance

Motion Control Levers Gap Maintenance
Warning: Park machine safely before starting the procedure.
Are the motion control levers in neutral position?
Do the ends of the levers strike against each other while in the neutral position?
If yes, an adjustment is needed.
Adjustment Procedure
Are the jam nuts loosened?
Enter the gap between handles after tightening adjustment bolts.
Are the jam nuts tightened to hold adjustment bolts in place?
Sign off on the motion control levers gap maintenance
Deck Lift Spring Tension (E and M Series Machines) Maintenance
Park machine on a hard, level surface.
Engine stopped and park brake locked?
Raise the mower deck to the transport position.
Lift the operator seat and lock into position.
Measure length (A).
While Looking from Rear of Machine:
Turn the hex nut (B) clockwise to increase the spring tension.
Turn the hex nut (B) counterclockwise to decrease the spring tension.
