500 Hourly Maintenance
Replace secondary air cleaner
Change transmission oil and filters. (Every 500 hrs after 300 hour Initial Break In)
Check torque on ROPS hardware
Lubricate front caster wheel pivots
Remove cooling shroud and remove debris (or annually)
Replace metal fuel filter (if equipped). (Every 1000 Hours or Yearly)
Replace spark plugs. (Every 1000 Hours or Yearly)
Sign off on the 500 Hourly Maintenance
300 Hourly Maintenance
Check and adjust valve clearance (Kawasaki engines only)
Replace primary air cleaner element
Replace plastic fuel filter (if equipped)
Cleaning Plastic Surfaces
Rinse hood and entire machine with clean water to remove dirt and dust that may scratch the surface
Wash surface with clean water and a mild liquid automotive washing soap
Dry thoroughly to avoid water spots
Wax the surface with a liquid automotive wax. Use products that specifically say “contains no abrasives
Buff applied wax by hand using a clean, soft cloth
Motion Control Levers Maintenance
Warning: Park machine safely before starting the procedure
Are both motion control levers moved forward?
Are the control levers equally aligned?
If position of control levers are unequal, an adjustment is necessary
Are the locknuts (A) loosened?
Are both left and right motion control levers moved to desired position on control arm until levers are aligned?
Are the locknuts tightened?
Sign off on the motion control levers maintenance
Mower Blades Replacement
Warning: Ensure the mower is turned off and unplugged before starting the procedure.
Wooden block used to prevent mower blades from spinning
Screw (A), hardened washer (B), large concave blade washer (C), and blade (D) removed
Replacement blade installed with blade wing facing toward top of mower deck
Hardened washer, blade, large concave blade washer, and cap screw installed
Blade bolts tightened to specification
Machine lowered
Mower deck adjusted to a desirable cutting height
Sign off on the mower blades replacement
