Checking Engine Oil Level

1. Park the vehicle safely. (See Parking Safely in the SAFETY section.)

2. Raise and secure cargo box.

3. Remove dipstick (A) and wipe it clean.

Check mark

4. Install dipstick.

Check mark

5. Remove dipstick.

6. Check oil level:

Check mark

● Oil level must be between fill marks on dipstick.

● If oil level is low, add oil to bring oil level no higher than upper mark on dipstick.

Servicing Air Cleaner Element

1. Park the vehicle safely. (See Parking Safely in the SAFETY section.)

2. Allow engine to cool.

3. Pull out latch (A).

Check mark

4. Rotate canister cover (B) counterclockwise to unlock. Remove cover.

Check mark

5. Remove and discard filter element (C). Replace with a new filter element.

Check mark

6. Install cover over canister and rotate clockwise to lock. Make sure that the dust unloading valve is pointing downward.

7. Push in the cover latch.

Changing Engine Oil and Filter

1. Warm the oil by running the engine.

Check mark

2. Park the machine safely. (See Parking Safely in the SAFETY section.)

3. Raise and secure cargo box.

Check mark

4. Place a drain pan under the engine drain plug hole (A) and oil filter drain hole (B) in frame.

Check mark

5. Remove oil fill cap (C) from filler opening.

Check mark

6. Remove drain plug (D) and drain oil into an oil drain pan. Allow oil to drain completely.

7. Remove and discard oil filter (E) on the front of the engine. Wipe off filter base on engine.

8. Put a light coat of clean engine oil on gasket of the new oil filter.
