500 Hourly Maintenance
Replace Transmission-Hydraulic Filters
Clean exterior of filter and mounting area
Open drain valve (B) and drain fuel
Lift up and rotate retaining ring (A) counterclockwise. Remove ring with filter
Install filter assembly. Tighten retaining ring
Bleed the system
Replacing Water Separator Filter
Clean exterior of filter and mounting area
Open drain valve (C) and drain fuel
10 Hourly / Daily Maintenance
Check Engine Oil level
Engine Oil level
Check Coolant Level
Coolant Level
Any signs of leakage?
Drain Water from Fuel Filter or Water Separator
Check Transmission-Hydraulic Oil Level
Transmission-Hydraulic Oil Level
Lubricate MFWD Axle, if Equipped with AutoTrac System
100 Hourly Maintenance
Check Torque on Wheel and Wheel Weight Bolts
Check Air Intake Hoses
Check Coolant Level (Coolant De-Aeration Tank)
Raise hood.
Slowly turn de-aeration tank cap (A) to relieve pressure. Remove cap.
Check de-aeration tank level.
Add coolant, as specified in Fuel, Lubricants and Coolant section.
Reinstall de-aeration tank cap.
Change Engine Oil and Filter
4500 Hourly / 5 Yearly Maintenance
Crankshaft Vibration Dampening Pulley replaced
Flywheel Torsional Damper replaced
Drive Shaft Universal Joints replaced
Sign off on the maintenance
250 Hourly Maintenance
Lubricate MFWD Kingpins, Tie Rod Ends and Axle Pivota and Lubricate Triple-Link Suspension (if equipped)
Replace plugs (A) with M10 thread 90° grease fittings, part number 58M5580
Lubricate U-joints
Remove grease fitting and reinstall plugs (A)
Lubricate Front and Rear PTO Shafts
Lubricate Front Hitch
Check Torque on Wheel and Wheel Weight Bolts
Lubricate Non-Driving (2WD) Axle, Wheel Bearings, Tie Rod Ends, Axle Pivot and Steering Spindles/Cylinder Ends
