Air intake hoses, check for leaks (see Service - Every 250 Hours).
Hydraulic system - Replace hydraulic oil filter (see Service - Every 750 Hours).
Transmission - Replace transmission oil filter (see Service - Every 750 Hours).
Front-wheel drive axle - Axle housing, oil change (see Service - Every 1500 Hours).
1500 Hourly / 2 Yearly Maintenance
Accumulator on TLS front-wheel drive axle, have nitrogen pressure checked by a John Deere™ dealer
Front axle without front-wheel drive - Clean wheel hubs and apply new grease
Engine - Replace filter on crankcase vent (oil separator)
Transmission/hydraulic system - Change the oil
Steps to change the oil
Rear drop axle (if equipped) - Change oil
Transmission - Clean intake screen (additional screens used with AutoPowr™/IVT™)
Front-wheel drive axle - Axle housing, oil change
Front-wheel drive axle - Final drives, oil change (without brake)
500 Hourly Maintenance
Check that all accessible ground cables are secure
Engine - Check drive belt for wear
Engine - Change engine oil filter
Engine - Change engine oil
Drain oil with engine shut off, but with engine oil still warm.
Fuel system - Change fuel filter
Always change the two filters at the same time.
Have brake system bled and checked by a John Deere™ dealer
Lubricate the draft link bearings (if equipped)

Cooling system - Have the viscous fan checked by your John Deere™ dealer
Cab - Have accumulator of cab suspension checked by your John Deere™ dealer
Engine - Have glow plugs checked by your John Deere™ dealer
Engine - Have valves adjusted by your John Deere™ dealer
Front-wheel drive axle - Have accumulator of TLS changed by your John Deere™ dealer

Cooling system - Change the coolant (if COOL-GARD™ II is used and annual check)
On tractors with cab, is the heater control turned as far as it will go to the right?
Is cap (A) unfastened and then taken off?
Is a container placed under the drain to collect the coolant as it emerges?
Is drain plug (C) opened and coolant drained out?
Is drain plug (C) closed and tightened to the specified torque?
Fill the system up to the max. mark (B) with clean water
Is the engine run until it reaches operating temperature?
Is the engine shut off and system drained?
